Jose Morell Jr., founder and CEO of Blood Guts and Glory Productions, is a gentle giant with a genuine soul, curator, visionary and passion driven extraordinaire. 

Resident of North Babylon, NY devoted husband and father. His adoration for the world of boxing started in 1988, when he became a corporate travel consultant for Home Box Office (HBO). With hard work and dedication to the company, he managed to move to HBO Studios where he worked in the production side of HBO. Mr. Morell worked very closely with the HBO Sports Spanish enhancement team together with many world boxing champions. After consistently connecting with these athletes, Jose sparked a passion to share their incredible stories with the world. Jose is now the founder and CEO of Blood, Guts &Glory, Productions, LLC where all the stories of hope are told. 

Our desire to genuinely and holistically support our boxing hero's world-wide. Too many of these great fighters share parallel struggles. Blood Guts and Glory Productions agenda is to have the world champions retire with the financial stability and the respect that they deserve. It’s our ambition to help fighters live a respectable quality of life, where the Boxer comes first and not last.

 Intrinsically, we’d like to use a portion of our documentaries revenue to help fighters in need to avoid the dangerous return to fighting, just to make income from the improper financial literacy and planning. It's our objective to address misrepresentation, along with financial pirating to all levels of Boxing. 

The Non-profit initiative will provide in-depth financial literacy workshops and aide Boxers with legalities in a savvy and innovative way to protect, keep track, and enhance assets. 

Through this, our hope is that our community of fighters will enjoy the implementation of what Blood Guts and Glory Productions can do for the youth and retirees of Boxing in solidifying respectful work outside the ring with a fair and firm financial literacy components built within. Fighters become legends, and their lives should reflect their legacy.
